MUSIGA POLLS RESLATED FOR JULY 10
MUSIGA polls reslated for July 10. The national executives elections of the Musicians Union of Ghana, MUSIGA initially slated for June 26th has been pushed forward to July 10th, that’s according to the National Elections Committee of the union. The disclosure comes as an aftermath of a committee meeting held on Monday, June 24 to discuss issues relating to the forthcoming polls.
The rationale for the decision taken was, the feedback gotten from the initial release of the voters register for upcoming elections and the Electoral Commission(EC) of Ghana being the supervisors of the elections are currently busy on their limited voters registration exercise. Chairman of the committee, Smart Nkansah upon citing some of these reasons, went ahead to assure members a free and free elections as he and the committee are working constructively towards an incident free elections come July 10th. Meanwhile, Obour is the incumbent President of MUSIGA.
